Vodeno and Aion Bank will offer BLIK-as-a-service to financial institutions across Europe
BLIK, a modern payment system from Poland, Aion Bank and Vodeno, a provider of advanced financial technology, announced that have formed a strategic partnership. „This cooperation will enable both Vodeno and Aion Bank, which participates in the BLIK system as an issuer, to offer fintechs, banks and other financial institutions access to BLIK services.” – according to the press release.
BLIK-as-a-Service
BLIK, which has quickly become a widely used payment solution in Poland, is consistently expanding its services and network of partnerships, thereby increasing its market presence. „The partnership with Vodeno and Aion Bank marks BLIK’s first as-a-service agreement, which will enable various entities from financial and non-financial sectors across Europe to be able to use BLIK’s services.” – the company explained.
Vodeno and Aion Bank combine an innovative, scalable and flexible cloud-based platform with comprehensive banking services, based on Aion’s European Central Bank license, regulated by the National Bank of Belgium. Their Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions are available to businesses from within the financial sector, as well as other non-financial industries across Europe. This allows Vodeno and Aion Bank to integrate various financial solutions – including instant payment solutions in local currencies – directly into the systems of their customers among retail, e-commerce, fintechs or banks.
