Stoilka Arsova has 25 years of experience in the banking sector, holding positions related to the management and development of electronic payment channels and digital payment products.
In 2014, she became the head of the National Card and Payment Scheme (NCPS) – a non-profit organization uniting banks, non-bank institutions, and service providers. Within the NCPS, she has led the development of unified national standards for the Bulgarian card under the brand bcard. In 2023, she supported the digitalization of food vouchers based on a national standard.
In 2021, she contributed to the launch of instant payment services under the blink brand, aiming to transform the payment landscape in Bulgaria in the long term.
She works actively towards European interoperability. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the European Card Payment Association (ECPA), and since 2020, she has served on the Board of Directors of the European Card Payment Cooperation (ECPC), which is focused on developing the European card technology CPACE.
She is also involved in new European initiatives for mobile payments, including EMPSA (European Mobile Payment Systems Association) and the EuroPA Alliance (European Payments Alliance).
