Ștefan GergelyEver since January 2022, Stefan is responsible for the global growth of Veridion, a big data startup that leverages advanced scraping and ML technologies to ingest hundreds of billions of webpages weekly and perform human-like ML-based research at scale to create and maintain a database of 50+ data points on 70M+ companies.
Stefan is the former Head of the Mobile Blockchain & Advanced Technologies Department of Zitec. He founded Aurus.io, a fintech company that built a 100% gold-backed cryptocurrency; ATA, the Romanian Association of Advanced Technologies as well as other tech startups.
Also, Stefan is the co-founder of Udevoffice, one the first agencies to develop blockchain technology, which was acquired by Zitec, one the largest development agencies in Romania.

“Ever since I started high school, entrepreneurship and technology became my thing. I come up with ideas and I do my best in making them real. I work alongside Under Development Office, a software development company based in Bucharest; StartRec Studios, a music production studio also in Bucharest, and as a co-founder of a software startup called Acquainted.
After diving deep into the blockchain space, working on Aurus to properly tokenize gold and assets, working with Emro Ventures on a very interesting project and advising a few other blockchain startups, I’m taking a look at the Big Data / AI world with Dimely.”
