Mihai is a risk and compliance leader with experience turning regulation into product-ready frameworks across banking, payments, and Web3. At xMoney, he leads the Risk function and serves as Stablecoin Program Manager, guiding MiCA-aligned EMT design and rollout. Earlier roles include Web3 and banking compliance, anti-fraud, and corporate banking at Crédit Agricole Bank Romania, Banca Românească, and OTP Bank.
Working with cross-functional teams across Europe, he contributes to end-to-end modernization in payments and digital assets. He leverages experience from traditional finance and Web3 to develop and improve practices, tools and products aligned with regulatory and operational dynamics in the payments sector.
