Ludmila Andreeva is a Policy Officer in the Digital Finance Unit in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) in Brussels. Prior to her current role, she was working in the Banking Unit, directly involved in developing the Banking Union and other key projects in the area of financial services aiming at restoring financial stability since the crisis.
She was also working in the Directorate General for Research, Development and Innovation dealing with financial management for international projects. Before joining the Commission, she had worked in the public sector as a diplomat in NATO and in the bilateral Embassy of Bulgaria to Belgium and Luxembourg as an Economic and Policy Officer, as well as a Project officer in the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Transport. She had also several positions in the private sector in a leading FMCG company and in a biotech start-up in Sofia, Brussels and Geneva. She is holding an MBA degree from Solvay Business School.
