Elena is a Romanian certified tax advisor with 13-year experience in the tax advisory field, holding multiple advanced diplomas in international taxation issued by the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation.
She has been involved in various assignments (e.g. ongoing tax consulting, M&A / restructuring, transfer pricing projects, etc.) in any tax area. Currently, she is managing the tax advisory team within Accace Romania, assisting clients from various industries, such as: retail, real estate, energy, oil and gas, transport and logistics etc, as well as private clients.
During recent years, she has developed a keen interest and focus on private income taxation, in particular on exotic revenues taxation which was triggered by an emerging need to adapt to the new market trends and requirements, as well as by the expanding requests from clients.
Thus, cryptocurrencies, NFTs as well as other non-plain vanilla instruments that are not so easily digestible for a classic tax advisor have become her passion.
