Doctoral researcher at SDA Bocconi about banking on empathy
Carmen is doctoral candidate at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy, researching the role of CEO’s empathy in new value creation in financial services.
She is also a results-driven senior executive in banking who has transformed the reputation, branding, and customer impact of two banks in Central and Eastern Europe, Erste Group Bank AG and Addiko Bank AG. Since 2021, Carmen is managing director for the Vienna-headquartered Addiko Bank AG, with responsibility for digital growth, marketing and corporate communications.
Carmen began her career as communication consultant in Bucharest, having collaborated to some of the first NoCash events back in the days. Over the past 20 years, she built expertise in financial communications, brand development, marketing, strategic leadership and new value creation. In 2020, Carmen finished her Global Executive MBA at the IESE Business School.
