Adi Morun, formerly Chief Operations Officer for Czech Republic and Slovakia, is now leading Microsoft’s Data and Artificial Intelligence business within Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (CEMA). Based in Prague, he is leading the adoption of AI solutions in over 100 countries.
What says Adi about his role in Microsoft: “My new role focuses on scaling the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, which is built on decades of investment culminating right now with consumer adoption of AI technologies such as Chat GPT-4. AI unlocks innovation across industries, and we want to drive the use of new technologies throughout the region. In my role overseeing a larger area, I’ll be able to help shape specific industries’ adoption of AI.”
Adi Morun previously worked as National Azure Director at Microsoft Canada, where he led a team of Azure specialists enabling Enterprise, Government & Mid-Market customers to embrace cloud-based technologies and accelerate their digital transformation. Prior to this, he led the Canadian Azure business through its early growth phases, including launching the Microsoft Canadian Datacenters and building the Canadian Data & AI Partner ecosystem.
