Dr. Andra Sonea is an innovation and technology strategist with extensive experience across global financial services, consulting, and the fintech ecosystem.
She has worked as a solution architect for the innovation labs of IBM and Lloyds Banking Group, and with FintechOS, SAP, KPMG, EY, and Deutsche Bank.
For over fifteen years, she has collaborated with fintech start-ups and international investors, advising on technology evaluation, and go-to-market strategy.
Currently a researcher at the University of Warwick and former Research Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, her work focuses on open finance business models, spatial modelling of access to banking, financial system resilience and the architecture of mega-banks.
She holds a BA from the University of Bucharest, an MBA from London Business School and a PhD from the University of Warwick.
