Canadian Romanian economist with over 25 years’ experience in risk management in various global banks and FinTechs.

 

Toma has been responsible for the risk management of large consumer banking portfolios in Canada, the US, and Romania.

He implemented new core systems and risk innovations and reviewed the risks of all CitiBank operations across Europe. He created and managed credit risk units and collection, compliance, and anti-fraud organizations.

 

Toma is a hands-on specialist with experience across all risk families and is a co-founder of several FinTechs. He is a manager, consultant, and entrepreneur.
