Associate Professor – The Bucharest University of Economic Studies

 

Mirela holds an extensive portfolio of both national and international professional qualifications in the field of financial reporting, including ACCA, CIA, CAFR, CCF, and CECCAR. Her credentials are further complemented by a strong academic background, comprising a PhD in Accounting from ASE Bucharest and an MBA from Bentley University, USA (graduated with distinction).

 

With significant professional experience, Mirela is currently a partner in a consulting firm, where she advises on a wide range of topics such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), auditing, taxation, business planning, and related areas. In recent years, her professional interests have expanded to include artificial intelligence and its applications in the financial sector.She also serves as a non-executive director on the board of Inteligo Media, the company operating avocanet.ro.

 

Additionally, Mirela is a certified trainer with extensive experience delivering both in-person and online training programs, designed to equip professionals with practical skills, advanced knowledge, and actionable solutions in her areas of expertise.
