From digital bank to AI bank: Libra Internet Bank introduces, for the first time in Romania, Generative AI based on voice in its mobile banking app
“Libra Voice” interacts in Romanian with the app’s users through voice, providing information, in both audio and text format, about accounts, transactions, deposits, and loans, as well as other analyses and information about the products and services offered by the bank. Customers of the bank can also use “Libra Voice” to extract and analyze information from the transaction list. Thus, the generative artificial intelligence service has the capacity to generate summaries such as payments made to a specific merchant, receipts from a selected time period, or personalized characterizations of the client’s consumption behavior based on transaction history.
“Libra Voice” behaves like a human interlocutor, adapting its responses each time based on the context and style of the conversation. “The information provided to users might not always be correct or complete, but “Libra Voice” constantly improves its performance as its usage level increases.” – the bank explained.
An absolute first in Romania’s banking market, “Libra Voice” is available in beta version for all individual customers and is found in the Libra Mobile Banking app on the start screen, with activation done by pressing the microphone symbol button.
